According to Sky Sports, Manchester City will splash the cash this summer to strengthen their squad after the Court of Arbitration for Sport scrapped their 2 year European Ban. City will compete in the Champions League next season and therefore will need to strengthen the team.
The club is reportedly interested in signing four of the best players in the world who can offer them platform to win both domestic and European tiles.
Here are the four players Manchester City could sign:
David Alaba- The Swiss superstar is reportedly deemed surplus to requirement at Bayern Munich and he is free to leave the club if any suitable comes in. Alaba is no strange to Pep Guardiola who have worked with the 28-year-old at Bayern and won 8 titles including 3 consecutive Bundelisga titles.
Alaba is a world class fullback who can also play as wing back and a defensive midfielder.
Kalidou Koulibaly- The Napoli captain is the creme de le creme of the transfer market. Everybody want him but only few can afford him due to his price tag. The Senegalese defender will cost any club interested in his service £90m to £100m to sign.
Ferran Torres– The 20-year-old Spanish international is reportedly on the radar of Manchester City who are oping to sign him as Leroy Sane’s replacement. Torres is a potential world class player and his versatility coupled with is pace, creativity, technique, aerial presence and ferocious shoot makes him a real asset.
Lautaro Martinez– According to play433.com, Manchester City could beat Barcelona to the signing of Inter Milan’s highly rated striker Lautaro Martinez. The attacker is every expensive to sign and only few clubs can afford £98.8m to trigger his release clause.
Manchester City have the funds to trigger his release clause unlike Barcelona who are struggling to pay.
