3 reasons why Arsenal succeeded in beating Liverpool 2-1

The Gunners have succeeded in beating Liverpool 2-1 at the Emirate Stadium. Arsenal have now ended a 5 year win-less streak against the reigning Premier League champions as well as moved closer to qualifying to the Europa League.

Mikel Arteta will be proud of his team who fought back from the brink of defeat and won against a strong Liverpool side that dominated most part of the game and created lots of goal scoring chances.

The 2-1 win over Liverpool will come as a huge boast for Arsenal who now be preparing to face Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter final.

Here the three reasons why Arsenal won:

Arsenal were more motivated that Liverpool- Arsenal are still fighting to finish in the Europa League places and end the season with a FA Cup title unlike Liverpool, who have nothing else to play for having won their first ever Premier League title.

Lack of concentration at back– Liverpool have managed just 3 wins since the Premier League resumed. They have lost 2 games, drawn 2 and won 3 while conceding 11 goals. This proves that Reds defense is no longer as strong it was 5 months ago.

Liverpool players are too relaxed- The Reds are no longer the force of nature that blow past team and won games consecutively. Now they struggle to even win at home {Burnley 1-1} or even keep out goals {Manchester City 4-0}. Jurgen Klopp will be most delighted coach if the season were to finish today knowing his men are in party mood not football mode.
