6 Top Players Real Madrid Will Likely Sell This Summer

Real Madrid will reshuffle their squad this summer by signing talented players while selling off deadwood or fringe players. The club manager Zinedine Zidane is optimistic of winning more trophies next season and has outlined his plans for the future and the players he will be working with.

According to Marca, Los Blancos will sell at least six players who have outlived their usefulness at the club in other to raise funds to sign better and fitter players this summer.

Here are the 7 players expected to leave Real Madrid this season:

Gareth Bale– The 32-year-old Wales superstar is expected to leave Real Madrid this summer having struggled to hold down a regular playing berth under Zinedine Zidane. The attacker have made more headlines on the bench than on the pitch due to childish antics.

The club will certainly let him leave this summer so as to focus on winning both domestic and European trophies.

James Rodriquez- The 2014 FIFA Golden Boot winner will likely be among the host of players expected to leave Real Madrid. James has outlived his usefulness at Madrid and has to leave permanently and not on loan.

Luka Jovic– Former Eintract Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic will likely be leaving Real Madrid having struggled to play first team football at the club. The 24-year-old currently lacks confidence and the manager’s trust to really make it at Real Madrid therefore, its best for him to move on.

Brahim Diaz– Former Manchester City star Brahim Diaz will likely be leaving Real Madrid on a season loan deal next season. The 21-year-old needs to play more games and gather experiences.

Rodrygo– The versatile attacker could be leaving Real Madrid this summer on a season loan deal. The Brazilian needs game time to develop his unbelievable talents.

Luka Modric- The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner could be leaving Real Madrid if a suitable offer comes in for the 34-year-old. Madrid will be forced to sell if Inter Milian were to offer $25m or more for the central midfielder who turns 35 on September 9th.

Modric still remains a world class midfielder but age is no longer on his side. He will leave if a huge offer comes in for him.
