Why Jamie Carragher is wrong about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United

Jamie Carragher asserssaton that Manchester United should get rid of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and bring in a manager that compete with the likes of Thomas Tuchel, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp is wrong.

That statement is derogatory, uncalled for and sadly embarrassing. Ole success with Manchester United should never be rated with the number of trophies he has won but rather, how well he has stabilized the club.

The club need stability in the long run after losing their greatest manager of all time in Sir Alex Ferguson. That stability will take time just like other historical club.

Take for instance, Liverpool took 30 years to win the Premier league title despite conquering the league and Europe back in 80’s.

It took Klopp years to get the right balance and get them playing top class football. At times it felt like Klopp was doing a bad job as Liverpool kept losing back to back domestic and European cup finals.

But yet, the fans and everyone supported Klopp and believed in his system despite the numerous defeats.

Today, Liveprool is one of the storngest club in Europe thanks to the fans and Jamie Carragher who beleived in Klopp.

This is what Ole Gunnar Solaksjaer needs. He needs support at all cost as he gets the team playing good football.
