Atletico Madrid 2-3 Liverpool: Salah is the best player in the world and 5 things we learnt

Liverpool have defeated Atletico Madrid 3-2 at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium to make it 3 wins in a row. The Reds did score the first two goals of the game but were instantly pegged by the resolute Antoine Griezmann who found foam in teh right time.

He scored two goals to restore the confidence of the La Liga champions but denting it with a crazy foul on Roberto Firmino. Griezmann dismissal meant At. Madrid were going to play a very strong Liverpool side with a man down and the end result was predictive.

Antoine Griezmann- The French man is now the first player in Champions League history to have scored two goals in a single match and they be sent off.

Mohamed Salah- Salah is the first Liverpool player in history to have scored in 9 consecutive matches. Without doubt, he is the world best player. Not sure if Lionel Messi will agree with that.

Naby Keita is on fire– The Guinean international is finally paying off the huge investment made on him. He has scored 2 goals in 5 games and created 23 chances on goal.

Keita is without doubt living up to the billing and that is good news to everyone.

Jan Oblak- The Atletico Madrid shot stopper is better than Alisson Becker. His reflective are top notch.

Atletico Madrid- Diego Simone team might have lost to Liverpool but, had Griezmann stayed on they would’ve earned a point or even go as far as beating Liverpool.
