3 reasons why Manchester United board won’t sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United will not be sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer anytime soon despite the club recording its worst defeat in 106 years. The club’s decision makers feels Ole has a lot to offer Manchester United and will need as much time as possible to make a difference.

Keeping him might make little sense to the outsiders but those in the corridor of power know what they’re doing.

Sir Alex Ferguson still believes in Ole- The legendary manager still believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can turn things around if given more time to world. United have a very good squad and all they need is time to get to know each other.

Antoine Conte is too fiery to control– Unlike Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who is calm and collected, Antoine Conte is fiery and demanding. He will want an overhaul of the current Manchester United squad and will certainly ask the club to sell Cristiano Ronaldo which frankly is bad for business.

Secondly, Conte’s rigid 3-5-2 formation is alien to the Manchester United way of playing football..

Ole is a safe choice for the owners– Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s recent struggle has worked well in keeping the American owners off the spotlight. The fans want them gone but again need them to kick Ole Gunnar Solskjaer out.

Solskjaer is a Manchester United legend and his presence help massively in keeping everyone’s tempers in check and the Glazers in power.
