6 problems Xavi has failed to solve at Barcelona

After 4 games in charge of Barceloan you could say Xavi Hernandez hasn’t really made the change Joan Laporta and all Culers were anticipating. He is struggling to bring the changes and the results clearly proves it.

With just 2 wins, a draw and a defeat after four games, its easy to deduce Xavi’s Barcelona won’t be winning the Spanish League or Champions League if certain changes aren’t made quick:

Memphis Depay is no Messi- The Dutch international might have kicked started his Camp Nou dream with 2 goals and an assist in 4 games but, in 10 games Depay has managed just one strike and no assist.

His form is very poor and that has affected Barcelona’s strong start to the season. Sadly, Xavi is also struggling to get him back to his very best.

Scoring goals– Depay, Luuk de Jong {ridicules signing}, Martin Braithwaite, Ansu Fati and others are all struggling to score goals. Football games are decided by goals and Barcelona aren’t scoring enough to win. They need a world class striker quickly.

Injuries to key players- Injuries haven’t been fair to Barcelona for a long time and Xavi is struggling to deal with it. Sergio Aguero is out followed by Sergio Dest, Gavi and no one is sure how long Ousame Dembele or Philippe Coutinho can stay fit.

Defensive problem- Barcelona’s problem isn’t abut scoring goals alone, the defense is a shamble and Xavi seems to have no solution how to fix it.

Ter Stegan form– The German keeper is struggling for form and confidence at the moment. That is really bad cause without the defenders trusting the keeper who is the last line of defense, they will making hasty clearers and giving the ball away rather than building from the back.
