Sergio Aguero will be officially announcing his retirement after 20 years in the game. The attacker decided it was time to call it a quit after experiencing chest pains 41 minute in his cameo as a Barcelona player.
Later, it was diagnosed that the 33-year-old has cardiac arrhythmia and needed at least 3 months to rest and heal.
Sadly, the doctor discovered that playing more football will exacerbate the illness and put Aguero into harm’s way, therefore, the best decision is to retire.
No doubt, leaving top level football so early is a massive blow for Aguero who still believes he has more to offer. He wants to play more games, win more trophies and hopefully, line up with Lionel Messi as teammates with Argentina or PSG.
But fate has it own way of working and Augero will be bowing out of the game on Wesnesday.
