Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signign the greatest player in Barcleona’s history Lionel Messi.
The Narazzurri did famously try to sign Messi back in 2006 after activating his $132m release clause.
But sadly, Messi rejected their advance and stuck with Barcelona where he has gone on to win 35 club trophies along with 6 Ballon d’Or.
Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti still believes Lionel Messi could join the club this summer thanks to the presence of Antoine Conte.
“I don’t believe Messi is a forbidden dream at all”, Messi told Radio Rai.
“Maybe it never was even before all this misfortune. He is in the final stretch of his contract and, without doubt, it would take a tremendous effort to bring him here.
“I don’t know if the current situation changes anything for better or for worse”.
In line with wage cut going across the footballing world, Lionel Messi has slashed his wages by 70 percent to help support non-playing staff during the Coronavirus crises.
