The pressing issue Liverpool must fix or risk losing the Premier League title next season

Its difficult finding a problem with the reigning Premier League champions ‘Liverpool’ cause everything about them is almost perfect. The manager and his coaching staffs are world class; the first team is arguably the greatest in the club’s history while the squad depth is littered with superb game changes.

But despite the acclaims, Liverpool still have problems winning away games. The Reds have failed to wi their away games since the restart of the Premier League.

They draw 0-0 to Everton in the 237th Merseyside derby and then got crushed 4-0 by Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. The 4-0 win is the biggest defeat Liverpool have suffered in 2 years.

The Reds have failed to win their last five away matches from Anfield in all competitions , losing four and drawing once. What makes it frightening is that they’ve failed to score in all five games.

Manchester City 4-0 Liverpool (Premier League) – July 2

Everton 0-0 Liverpool (Premier League) – June 21

Chelsea 2-0 Liverpool (FA Cup) – March 3

Watford 3-0 Liverpool (Premier League) – February 29

Atletico Madrid 1-0 Liverpool (Champions League) – February 18

The last time they won an away match was back in Frebaury 15 against bottom placed Norwich City. Sadio Mane scored the only goal of the game.

Its obvious now that Jurgen Klopp and his team have a lot of work to do now despite been Premier League champions. They’ve to improve their away form if they’re serious about retaining the Premier League title.
