Under the tutelage of Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool have transformed into one of the best clubs in the world. They’re winning games consistently, breaking unbelievable records and lifting the biggest trophy at home and abroad. The Reds are arguably the strongest team in Europe and that is due to their shrewd signing.
This summer, the club will revamp the squad by signing young and talented players while selling off fringe players who have failed to live up to the manager’s expectation. According to Sky Sport, 7 more players will join Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren out of Anfield.
Here are the seven players Liverpool could sell;
Divock Origi- Liverpool could sell the Belgium attacker this summer if they receive a good offer for him. Origi is already a Liverpool legend and most fans will remember him for his winning goal against Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League semi final and the Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
Some might even remember him for his winning goal against Newcastle Untied and Everton. Origi have loads of highlights but his inability to develop himself have made virtually impossible for him to break into Liverpool’s staring eleven.
Xherdan Shaqiri- The injury plagued winger could be leaving Liverpool if a suitable offer comes in for him. Xherdan Shaqiri is a talented player to have at the squad but with the arrival of Takumi Minamino, his chances of playing games will drastically reduce next season.
Loris Karius– The error prone goalkeeper will likely be sold this summer or moved out on a season loan deal. But if he decides to stay, he will become Liverpool’s third choice keeper after Alisson Becker and Adrain and might not play a single game next season.
Harry WIlson- The Fernando Torres look alike could be leaving the club permanently this summer having failed to keep Bournemouth in the Premier League. The attacking midfielder/ striker could be heading to Brighton or Southampton next season.
Marko Grujic – Grujic happens to be the first player signed under the management of Jurgen Klopp. But sadly the player have failed to live up to expectation and will likely sold this summer or loaned out.
Ben Woodburn- The young English defender will likely be sold or loaned out this summer. Woodburn’s development is slow compared to Van Der Berg or Nathaniel Philips.
