Barcelona will overhaul their aging squad that recently hit rock bottom in the Champions League against Bayern Munich. According to Marca, the club will source for funds and sign at least five top players who can help them return to echelon of football.
A new manager is expected to take the reign next week and he will certainly insist the club sell off most of the first team players and sign young talented players.
Bernando Silva– The Portuguese superstar will likely be joining Barcelona this summer having been relegated to the bench by at Manchester City. The attacking midfielder was an unused substitute in City’s 3-1 implosion against Lyon in the quarter final of the Champions League.

Barcelona are hoping to sign the 21-year-old defender as Gerard Pique’s long term replacement.
Lautaro Martinez- According to Calciomercato, Barcelona will likely sign the Inter Milan striker after the Europa League is concluded. Martinez is hoping to win the Europa League this season before moving to Barcelona to link up with his idol and friend Lionel Messi.
Eric Garcia– According to Sky Sports, Eric Garcia will likely be joining Barcelona this summer. The defender has rejected a contract extension with Manchester City as he looks forward to moving to Barcelona.
Caglar Soyuncu– Barceona are reportedly interested in signing Leicester City’s highly rated defender Caglar Soyuncu as Samuel Umtiti’s long term replacement. The Bluagrana giants are hoping to offer €40m for the tough tackling defender.
