Barcelona Sack Quique Setien After Bayer Munich’s 8-2 Humiliation

Barcelona has sacked Quique Setien after suffering one of their darkest day in history. The Spanish giants were humiliated 8-2 in the Champions League quater final by Bayern Munich.

The Champions League exit meant that Barcelona will finish a league season without winning a league title since 2008. Barcelona therefore took the necessary steps on Monday to sack Quique Setien as well as try to restructure the club from the top to the bottom.

Several top board members are expected to leave the club as well as veterans {like Luis Suarez, Arturo Vidal, Sergio Busquets. Ivan Rakitic and so many others} will likely be sold off this summer after Barcelona suffered thier worst defeat in 120 years history.

With Setien now gone, there’s a strong believe that Ronald Koeman who played for Barcelona for six years and won 4 La Liga titles, the Copa Del Rey and the European Cup could be hired.

Or, Barcelona could equally appoint Mauricio Pochettino who lead Tottentham Hotpsur to Champions League final two seasons ago.
