Chelsea Transfer News: Kai Havertz Agrees $180m Deal, Andre Onana, John Stones and Lewis Dunk All In Advance Talks

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are still aiming to strengthen their young and inexperienced squad this summer by signing some of the best players in the world. The Blues are aiming to sign a a good goalkeeper to replace the injury prone Kepa Arrizabalaga; two central defenders, a left back and a top central midfielder.

Frank Lampard is optimistic of winning a trophy next season while finishing in the top 4 but to achieve that fate, he needs Chelsea to strengthen his squad.

Kai Havertz– According to DailyMail, Chelsea are in advanced talk to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz. The 22-year-old is on the verge of becoming the most expensive German in history thanks to Chelsea who willing to pay $180m for the midfielder many dubbed as the next Micheal Ballack/Mesut Ozil.

John Stones– Chelsea are reportedly closing in on signing Manchester City flop John Stones. The 26-year-old England international is currently deemed surplus to requirement at City and he is free to leave the club if any suitable offer comes in for him.

Chelsea are hoping to sign him for just $25m compared to $67m Napoli are asking for Kalidou Koulibaly.

Lewis Dunk– According to Sky Sports, Chelsea have opened talks with Brighton to sign their highly rated defender Lewis Dunk. The defender shares similar defensive qualities with Chelsea’s greatest captain John Terry. His fearless nature and ability to power in last minute headers is what Chelsea have been missing for a long long time.

Dunk will join Chelsea if they can pay his $30m asking price.

Andre Onana- According to the Sun, Chelsea are closing in on signing Ajax No 1 goalkeeper Andre Onana. The 24-year-old Cameroonian international has won a host of trophies with Ajax and was part of the team that reached the Champions league semi final two season ago.

The higly rated goalKeeper will cost Chelsea $35m to sign.
