According to Cadena Sar, Barcelona are already thinking about the club’s fortune without their talisman Lionel Messi who might leave this summer. Messi has reportedly told Ronald Koeman he will reconsider his future and listen to offers from Europe’s top clubs.

His preconceived departure has set shock waves across Europe and now Barcelona are looking for replacements in case they fail to convince Messi to stay.

Paulo Dybala- Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Paulo Dybala as Lionel Messi’s long term replacement. The Juventus attacker will be Barcelona’s contingency plan in case Messi decides he no longer wants to play for the club.

Dybala posses similar skill sets like Messi and he can create as well as score goals.

Lautaro Martinez– According to Calciomercato, Barcelona are closing in on signing Inter Milan’s prolific striker Lautaro Martinez. The 23-year-old Argentinean striker is revered for his intelligent running, good link up play and clinical finishing.

He will join Barcelona if they can pay $70m for his service.

Eric Garcia– According to Sky Sports, Barcelona are close to reaching an agreement to sign Manchester City’s highly rated defender Eric Garcia. The defender has rejected a contract extension with City as he aims to return to Camp Nou and develop his football.

The 22-year-old believes he can be Gerard Pique’s long term replacement.
