Barcelona will be selling off nine of their first team players this summer after ending the season in disastrous fashion. The embarrassing end to the season have forced the club to take drastic steps by overhauling the whole structural setup.
The club have sacked top officials, appointed a new manager and now, hopes to sell off or terminate contracts of players who no longer have a future with teh club.
Ansu Fati– According to Daily Mail, Manchester United are hoping to splash £153m on signing Barcelona’s highly rated attacker Ansu Fati. United are hoping to sign the attacker whose next contract could see his release clause reach £350m.
Fati is the next best thing in football and United are hoping to sign the talented striker.
Luis Suarez- Barcelona’s 3rd highest goalscorer will leave the club this summer after been told by the new coach Ronald Koeman that he has no future at the club. The manager wants a younger, faster and much more strong striker leading his attack lines next season and not Suarez.
The attacker will likely be returning to Ajax.
Philippe Coutinho- According to Marca, Ronald Koeman has assured Phillipe Coutinho he will get a second chance to stalk his claim in the first team. The attacker might have left Barcelona on loan to Bayern Munich but, that decision was bad one as Coutinho came back to score twice against them in Bayern’s 8-2 demolition.
Coutinho will now return to Camp Nou as a Champions League winner which will give him the confidence to play his own game.
