According to Sky Sports, Liverpool are still interested in revamping their squad this summer by signing talented players. The club are hoping to sign a versatile attacker who can play across the front three in a 4-3-3 formation. A deep playing midfielder and a centre back.

The club manager Jurgen Klopp is optimistic of retaining the Premier League title while winning his first domestic cup trophy along with a second Champions League trophy in 3 years but to achieve that fate, Liverpool will have to strengthen the squad.

Here are the 4 players Liverpool are interested in signing this summer:

Thiago Alcantara- According to Bild, Liverpool are interested in signing Bayern Munich’s highly rated midfielder Thiago Alcantara. The 29-year-old has reportedly rejected Bayern’s contract extension as he sets his sights on moving to the Premier League and playing for a top club.

Alcantara is revered for his ball distribution, clairvoyance and creativity. Signing him will instantly give Liverpool the edge to win the Premier League title and probably the Champions League next season.

Lewis Dunk- Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Brighton and Albion captain Lewis Dunk. The Reds have inquired about the defender as they aim to sign him as Dejan Lovren’s long term replacement. Dunk is known for his aerial prowess, organisational skills, good ball distribution and communication skills.

Ismaila Sarr- According to Sky Sports, Liverpool are interested in signing Ismaila Sarr and have approached Watford over his availability. The Senegalese fits the prototype of players Jurgen Klopp wants to sign and develop in the long run. He can also play across the front three.

Sarr is revered for his blistering pace, sheer power and good finishing which makes him a real threat going forward. Although, he won’t be cheap, he will cost Liverpool $45m to sign.
