Liverpool have kick off their Premier League season with a 4-3 win over the spirited and technically proficient Leeds United. The Reds were stunned by the sheer power and will of Marco Bielsa team who fought till the last minute and would’ve won it had it not been for the incredible Mohamed Salah who scored a hat trick.
The Reds will revamp their squad before the October 5th deadline by signing talented players to help them retain the Premier League title.
According to AS Sport, Liverpool have reportedly offered a 3- year contract worth £180,000-a-week to the Spanish international. Thiago is willing to join Liverpool but his parent Bayern Munich are requesting for £35m or no deal will be done.
Bayern want Thiago to stay having won the treble with him and will therefore stick to their demands hoping Liverpool don’t match it.
The Reds are also linked to PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe who reportedly told his parent club he will be leaving next summer. Mbappe is a huge fan of Liverpool and could decide to join them next summer if they meet his £35m asking price.
Although, Liverpool won’t be the only club bidding for him, the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City will come for him.
Sky Sports reports that Liverpool are interested in signing Brighton and Albion defender and captain Lewis Dunk. The 28-year-old England defender caught the attention of Jurgen Klopp with his tackling, well timed interceptions and powerful header.
Dunk’s aerial prowess is top notch and his communication skills is as good as Van Dijk. Liverpool are hoping to sign him before the October 5th deadline.
