The Italian media are reporting that Barcelona are wrapping up the transfer of Inter Milan’s highly rated midfielder Lautaro Martinez. The 24-year-old will likely be the long term replacement of Luis Suarez who is set to leave the club before the transfer window is closed.
Martinez though will cost Barcelona £110m to sign unlike Lyon striker Memphis Depay who will likely join the Bluagrana giants for just £28m.
According to French publication L’Equipe, Lyon are willing to sell Memphis Depay to Barcelona. The club won’t stop the flamboyant attacker if he wants to joinn his former national team manager Ronald Koeman and rebuild a weak and dilapidated Barcelona.
Barcelona are now linked to Liverpool’s sensational striker Mohamed Salah who broke two new records in Liverpool’s pulsating opening match of the season.
Salah is the second payer in Premier League history to score in 4 opening match of the season after Teddy Sheringham and the first to do so in Liverpool’s history. Salah is now linked to Barcelona who will certainly need a player of such caliber in their team.
But signing him won’t be cheap knowing how valuable he is to Liverpool. The attacker will only leave Liverpool if Barcelona pay upfront £200m or £150m for the Egyptian International.
