Billionaires: Messi, Ronaldo and Mo Salah Tops Forbes Highest Paid Player

According to Forbes, Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi have become the second footballer to have earned $1b. The Barcelona attacker is the second player after Juventus ace Cristiano Ronaldo who achieved that fate earlier this year.

Messi is highest paid player in the world with an estimated earning of $126 which is derived from his wages {$98m} plus endorsement deals $34m.

The Argentinean is closely followed by Ronaldo who will earn $117, 9 million less than what Lionel Messi will pocket this season. Behind football’s most decorated players is Neymar who pocket $96m after signing a lucrative deal with Puma.

Fourth on the list is Kylian Mbappe who is expected earn $42million followed by Liverpool and Egypts senational attacker Mohamed Salah.
