According to Marca, Tottenham have reached an agreement to sign Real Madrid’s highly rated left back Sergio Reguilon. The 23-year-old will commence his medical today and sign a 3 year contract worth £120,000-a-week.
Spurs president Daniel Levy reportedly contacted Real Madrid on Tuesday night to discuss over the possibility of signing two of their superstars. His offers and terms were reviewed and instantly accepted cause it favourable to both sides.
First, Sergio Reguilon will join Spurs but with a buy back clause which Manchester United abruptly rejected therefore can’t sign him. Reguilon will likely return to Real Madrid when Marcelo’s contract ends in 2022.
And secondly, Gareth Bale will be allowed to join Spurs on a season loan deal and his wages will be split between both clubs. Real Madrid will pay 50% of his £500,000-a-week wages while Spurs completes the rest of his astronomical wages.
Sergio Regulion agreement is the first breakthrough and soon, Gareth Bale will be heading to Tottenham and not Manchester United.
