Liverpool are reportedly closing in on signing Luis Suarez on a season loan deal. The 33-year-old Uruguay international is currently deemed surplus to requirement at Barcelona and have been told to find a new club or risk been frozen out of the first team.
But according to Goal.com, Suarez will no longer be joining Juventus who have turned their focus on signing Eden Dzeko on a two years deal. The failed move means the attacker will likely leave Barcelona on loan to join Liverpool who are delighted to have him back.
He could equally join Inter Milan and AC Milan on loan having passed his Seria A citizenship exams.
The Daily Mail now reports that Liverpool are also interested in signing Watford’s versatility attacker Ismaila Sarr. The Senegalese is expected to become the back up player for Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane when he joins.
Blessed with electrifying pace, power and goals, Sarr is capable of stepping into the shoes of Liverpool’s triumvirate front three and helping the club win games.
Although, he will cost Liverpool £30m to sign which might dissuade them from signing him.
