Manchester United have recovered brilliantly form thier poor start to the season by recording a 3-0 win over Luton Town in the Caraboa Cup third round. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer picked a different lineup to the one which lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace but kept Harry Maguire and Donny Ven Beek in the starting line up which was clever decision.
Ole’s tactical setup plus personnel change was spot on as United attacked with energy and vibe. They attacked relentlessly and forced Luton Town to make mistakes which lead to a spot kick which Juan Mata converted brilliantly.
The second half of the match did see Luton Town try to come back by picking up the pace in their attacking third but, the brilliant Dean Henderson pulled out world class saves to deny them and keep United in front.
In the 88th minute Marcus Rashford scored the second goal of the night before Mason Greenwood scored the third goal to all but put United into the fourth round of the Caraboa Cup.
