According to the Daily Express, Chelsea are prepared to listen to offers for Antonio Rudiger. The 28-year-old World Cup winner is free to leave the club before the transfer window closes either on loan or permanently.
Rudiger’s availability have spurred Manchester United to contact his agent over the possibility of taking him on a season loan deal. United desperately need a world class defender to partner Harry Maguire and provide them stability at the back.
Although, Chelsea wouldn’t want to strengthen a direct rival and might find reasons not to sanction his move.
Daily Express further reports that Manchester United have identified £23m Ajax left back Nicolas Tagliafico as an alternative to Alex Telles. United and FC Porto are still locked in discussion over Telles who has reportedly agreed personal terms with United.
The left back is easier to say due to the relationship Manchester United have to Ajax’s sporting director Edwin Van Sar.
Finally, Jeese Lingaard will not be leaving Manchester United this season or the next. The 28-year-old might have been relegated to cup games or impact substitute but, he still loves United and want to continue playing football at the club.
