Manchester United are closing in on signing some of the finest players in Europe. The club need to revamp the squad by making useful additions while selling off fringe players who have outlived their usefulness.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United have reached personal agreement to sign FC Porto left back Alex Telles. The 27-year-old Brazilian wants to join United and have began following them on their respective social media accounts. But signing the Brazilian could be complicated than first thought.
Manchester United are still locked in transfer negotiation with FC Porto who are insisting United pay €25m even though the player in question have entered the final year of his contract.
Telles currently have a release clause of €36m but having entered the final year of his contract, Porto could decide to sell for a cheaper rate or face the risk of losing him for nothing come January. Manchester United meanwhile are hoping to sign him for €20m which FC Porto have rejected.
Sky Sports further reports that Manchester United are aiming to smash the British transfer record by signing Jadon Sancho in the final hours of the transfer window. The club are believed to be plotting a €105m transfer offer for Jadon Sancho which could be accepted.
The transfer negotiations might have dragged on for months, but the final outcome could be a history maker which frankly is worth it.
Finally, Manchester United are among the host of clubs interested in signing Chelsea’s outcast Antonio Rudiger on a season loan deal with an option to buy. United have contacted his representatives and an agreement is believed to have been reached.
