Manchester United are reportedly holding talks with Edinson Cavani and his representatives. The English giants are hoping to sign the 33-year-old Uruguay international striker after months of struggling to attract a top striker.
According to the Daily Mail, Cavani will gladly join Manchester United before the transfer deadline but, the club have to accept his wage demands ‘£210,000-a-week wages’ and offer him a 2 year contract.
Although, his wages might look too high but, Edinson Cavani is a global name and he will attract lots of sponsorship and sell of millions of jersey worldwide. On the sporting side, Cavani is a world class striker and he will upgrade Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attacking line.
Daily Mail further reports that Manchester United are closing in on signing FC Porto’s highly rated left back Alex Telles. United will likely pay Porto’s £18m asking price having allowed Diogo Dalot to leave the club to join AC Milan on a season loan deal.
United have already reached personal agreement with Alex Telles and his representative and all that is left is for agreement to be reached between United and Fc Porto.
Manchester United are also close to reaching an agreement to sign Ousame Dembele on a season loan deal. The attacker is reportedly open to join United having be dropped in the picking order and now playing second fiddle to the 18-year-old Ansu Fati.
