Liverpool have reportedly opened talks to sign Tottenham Hotspur keeper Paulo Gazzaniga. The Reds are in dear need of a goalkeeper after their number one shot-stopper Alisson Becker sustained a thigh injury that ruled him out for 4-6 weeks.
With Alisson out with a long term injury, Loris Karius and Caoimhin Kelleher both out on loan, Liverpool are stuck with Adrian who conceded seven goals to Aston Villa on Sunday for a month. He will play at least 10 games before Alisson Becker will be fit to play and that is a problem.
The Reds are now hoping ot sign Spurs third choice keeper Paulo Gazzaniga who has proven in some occasions he can pull out world class saves.
According to Goal.com, Liverpool are closing in on singing Brighton defender Lewis Dunk. The Reds are optimistic of signing the 28-year-old England defender to strengthen their back line which was ruthlessly exposed by Aston Villa’s master class.
Dunk’s qualities perfectly suits Liverpool but, he isn’t the faster defender around therefore, Klopp will have to abandon the highline.
