England Ends Holland’s 2 Year Unbeaten Record With A 2-1 Victory

England has succeeded in ending Belgium’s 2 year unbeaten run with an impressive 2-1 victory at Wembley. The three lions were optimistic of a win despite falling behind in the 25th minute after the referee had adjudged Eric Dier brought down Romelu Lukaku.

The Inter Milan striker took the spot kick and smashed it behind Jordan Pickford to give Belgium the lead and the initiative to go on win the game. Roberto Martinez side were top of their game and proved why FIFA ranked them the best football team in the world.

But, the Three Lions weren’t given up and equalized instantly through Marcus Rashford from the spot and then won the game by a deflection shot from Mason Mount.

Beating Belgium will certainly give England lots of optimism having won without using the likes of Raheem Sterling or the Quarantine breaking boys.
