Liverpool Transfer News: Klopp’s Want Mbappe, David Alaba To Join January While Ben White And Dayot Upamecano Linked

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe. The French international will likely be leaving the French capital this summer having rejected a contract extension that see his remaining two year contract move to five years.

PSG still want the attacker to stay on, but Mbappe habours the desire to win the Champions league which then attracts the Ballon d’Or to him.

Jurgen Klopp is a huge admirer of the fleet footed attacker and will whatever it takes to beat Real Madrid to his signature. Real Madrid might have the history in the Champions League, but Liverpool is getting stronger and even better than the Spanish giants.

According to Bild, Bayern Munich will likely sell David Alaba to Liverpool or risk the fate of losing him for free this summer. The 28-year-old Austrian international has rejected a contract extension with Bayern having failed to reach an agreement with the club.

Alaba is a world class left back who have ability to play in 4 other areas {right back, centre back, defensive midfielder, a left winger and a left central midfielder}.

Liverpool Echo now reports that Liverpool could sign either Leeds United defender Ben White or RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano this January. The Reds are desperate to sign a defender after Virgil van Dijk was ruled out for the rest of the season with an Anterior Cruciate Ligament damage.

Leeds United reportedly want $30m for Ben White while RB Leipzig have placed a $54m buy out clause on Dayot.
