Manchester United are reportedly plotting an audacious bid to sign two of Borrusia Dortmund’s superstars. According to the Athletic, Manchester United are interested in signing Norwegian striker Erling Haaland to provide them fire power upfront having struggled to kill off crucial game.
The Reds devils currently have two recognizable strikers in Odion Ighalo and Edison Cavani but, none of the two posses the power, pace, positioning sense and athleticism of the 20-year-old. United are hoping to activate his £68m release next season.
United are also interested in signing his teammate Jordan Sancho who has reportedly agreed personal terms wit the club and now waits for a deal to be reached between United and Dortmund.
Sancho will cost United £108m to sign and the club are finally willing to meet that valuation this summer.
With Haaland and Sancho both set to arrive Manchester United next summer, the club will likely let Donny van de Beek leave on loan. The talented Dutch midfielder is currently surplus to requirement despite signing for United 3 months ago.
His signing don’t really make sense, knowing that United already have a well stocked midfield with lots of talented players. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer don’t want him and his recent omission from the first team proves it.
The club will likely loan him out before selling off to the highest bidder even though they don’t get back the £40m they spent on the player.
