Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Inter Milan’s highly rated defender Milan Skriniar. The Reds are in dear need of a top defender to provide cover for Van Dijk who suffered a season ending injury against Everton.
Van DIjk’s cruciate ligament damage means Liverpool are shot in the back and must now rely on Joe Gomez staying fit while hoping the likes of Nat Philips and Rhys Williams mature quickly. Fabinho still remains dependable but Joel Matip is an injury plagued player who break down after 3 or 5 games.
Aware of this problem, Liverpool are now plotting an audacious bid to sign Milan Skriniar in a £35m deal.
According to Sky Sports, Liverpool are also interested in signing Schalke O4 defender Ozan Kabak. The 22-year-old centre back has the potential of becoming one of the best defenders in the world and now needs to move to a big and better club.
Kabak is fan of Liverpool and Van Dijk who he rates as the best defender in the world. The Turkish international will cost Liverpool £20m to sign.
Sky Sports further reports that Liverpool are interested in signing Marcus Thuram. The talented attacker is fast developing into one of the best strikers in Europe.
Liverpool are believed to be interested in him but, will only sign if Divock Origi where to leave the club this summer.
