Lautaro Martinez has reportedly rejected Inter Milan’s new contract extension. The 23-year-old Argentinean striker is poised to join Barcelona this summer and have rejected any talks of striking out his release clause which stands at $110m.
Barcelona were optimistic of triggering that release clause last summer but fail short of his valuation. Martinez is hopeful that his season will see him leave Inter Milan despite the club offers of improving his current wages from $2m a year to $6m.

According to Marca, Barcelona have reached an agreement to sign Manchester City’s highly rated defender. The defender have agreed to sign a pre-contract with Barcelona this January before finalizing his move to Camp Nou this summer.
The outstanding relationship between Barcelona’s sporting director Ramon Planes and Garcia’s agent Ivan del Pena facilitated the talks and ensured the defender returns this January.
Marca further reports that Lyon superstar Memphis Depay have reached an agreement with Barcelona and will join the club in the January transfer window in a $15m deal or, join for them for free next summer.
Although, his arrival largely depends on Ronald Koeman staying. If the former Dutch manager is fired by the new club president, Depay will move elsewhere.
