7 Players Out: Klopp’s Worst Nightmare Coming True As Mohamed Salah Test Positive To Covid-19 And Will Miss Crucial Matches

The news have gone viral already, Mohamed Salah have tested positive to Covid-19 and will self isolate in Egypt for two weeks.

His absence will certainly be felt by Liverpool whose hopes of retaining the Premier League title is becoming slimmer and slimmer as more first team players suffer injuries or get infected with the dreaded Covid-19.

Salah whose on international duty will now miss the top of the table clash against Leicester City in the Premier League title and then Atlanta in the Champions league.

If Liverpool win the game, they will qualify to the Champions League round of the 16 which will give more time to rest their first team players.

Mo Salah though is asymptotic which is good news for Liverpool and the fans. But his teammates Joe Gomez faces a more serious problem. The English defender will miss four months of action after rupturing the patellar tendon in his left knee.


He has undergone a successful injury and will be out for long term. He will know join Van Dijk in the treatment.

Gomez though isn’t the only player out for a long term. Oxlade Chamberlian is out with medial ligament damage {which normally takes 5 to 6 months to heal} while Trent Alexander Arnold is out for three weeks with a calf injury.

Thiago Alcantra is out with a thigh injury which he picked up against Everton in the Merseyside derby while Fabinho is out but he expected to back after the international break.
