Manchester United are reportedly plotting an audacious bid to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus after news filtered out that the Portuguese superstar cost too much to keep at Turin.
According to Sky Sports Italia, Ronaldo earns £28m-a-year which is three times what Juventus pay their second highest paid player Paulo Dybala.
Ronaldo’s astronomical wages have forced Juventus to seriously reconsider selling him or slash his wages by half in other to copy with the harsh economic realities.
But with Manchester United registering their interest in signing Ronaldo, Juventus could be getting a superstar in return and additional money. United are willing to offer Juventus Paul Pogba along with £10m to sign Crisitano Ronaldo.
United value Pogba at £53m while Ronaldo is within the range of £75m or £80m despite been 35.
Ronaldo might have aged but his market value still remains his high. Fans want him, club want him and major investors want him wearing their brand cause they know it will sell.
