Arsenal Transfer News: Arteta Wants Ericksen, Isco Set For January Move And Jerome Boateng Linked

Arsenal are on the verge of signing Inter Milan misfit Christian Eriksen. The 28-year-old Denmark international wants a change of scenery having grown frustrated with lack of first team football at Inter Milan.

HIs decision to quit Inter Milan after a year and 6 months didn’t surprise many of his fans who have watched him struggle to settle in the city or in the pitch.

Now, Arsenal are hoping to take him back to London where he blossomed into top central midfielder with Tottenham Hotspur. The Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is a huge fan of the playmaker and he wants him to join the club this January.

According to Marca, Arsenal are the firm favourites to sign Real Madrid star Isco. The Spanish player maker has handed in a transfer request having grown tired of warming the bench for others.

Isco wants to play regular football with top club which will guarantee him a place in Spain’s Euro 2021 squad.


Arsenal are interested in signing him but, he will have to convince him that North London rather they Merseyside is the best place for him to play regular football, win domestic trophies and compete in Europe.

German Sports paper Bild now reports that Arsenal are hoping to sign Jerome Boateng this summer. The 33-year-old defender will be a free agent this summer when his contract with Bayern Munich expires.

Mikel Arteta is a huge fan of the defender and feels his experiences and leadership qualities will be paramount in getting Arsenal back into the top 4.

Boatang is yet to speak about his future but when its time, Arsenal will be hoping he picks them ahead of other top European clubs.
