Liverpool are the prime favourites to sign PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe this summer reports Sky Sports. The club manager Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the speedster and has echoed his admiration for the 21-year-old who is currently breaking and setting new records in Ligue 1.
Mbappe have the potential to become the best player in the world and Liverpool are hoping he reaches that level at Anfield not the Santiago Bernabeu. Mbappe and Klopp are reportedly in contact as they aim to unite probably in the summer.
Italian papers Calciomercato are reporting that Liverpool are interested in signing Marco Kana from Anderlecht. The talented defenders is currently modeling his game after his coach Vincent Kompany who is currently rated teh best defender and captain in Manchester City’s history.
Liverpool though aren’t the only club interested in signing him, Southampton are hoping to sign him this January.
Calciomercato further reports that Liverpool could pay £27m to sign Ajax defender Perr Schurrs. The Reds need in dear need of defensive reinforcement having seen their once reliable defenders suffer multiple injuries.
Klopp have just one fit defender in Joel Matip who frankly is not reliable. Matip have never played 10 games in a row without breaking down since he joined Liverpool from Hamburg in 2015.
Depending on him to lead Liverpool’s backline till January will be asking a lot from the injury prone defender.
This is probably why Liverpool will likely sign a defender this January.
