Bayern Munich have shown interest in signing Barcelona superstar Frenkie De Jong. The Bavarians giants are confident of signing the talented midfielder this summer and will offer Barcelona €65m for the 23-year-old Dutch international.
Such a fee will certainly be of use to Barcelona who are currently finding ways to cut their players wages in other to afford bankruptcy and insolvency.
Barcelona financial mess has created an avenue for European’s biggest clubs to hover around them like vultures waiting for the right time to pick one player after the other.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are open to selling Samuel Umtiti this January. The Bluagrana giants want him gone and will either loan him to Juventus who are reportedly interested in taking him on loan with the option to buy or, sell him for €12m to any club who can pay unfront.
Barca feel his non-essential and getting rid of his €75,000-a-week wages will massively help the club save more money for the future.
Mundo Depotivo further reveals that Lionel Messi will move to PSG this summer. The Argentinean don’t mind reducing his current €500,000-a-week wages provided he is given an escape route from Camp Nou.
Messi still wants to win domestic trophies and compete with the best players in Europe. He wants to win the Champions League again and a record 7 Ballon d’Or.
Staying at Barcelona who sinking faster than a torpedo won’t help him achieve his dream therefore, a move to PSG or Manchester City will be a better alternative.
