What A Blunder! Spurs Title Hopes Dashed By Resolute Eagles

The nail biting clash between Tottentham Hotpsur and Crystal Palace has ended in a 1-1 draw.

Spurs did have the first half initiative as they created the better chances and peg Palace back with an outrageous goal from Harry Kane. The goal breath new life to Spurs who counter relentlessly and spurred chances to make it 2-0.

Palace keeper did pull out several world class saves to deny Kane again and Heug Son MIn.

But the second half was relatively different from the first of Spurs as Crystal Palace grew in the game. Palace had chances to score through Chrsitan Benteke, Eze and Ayew.

In the 81th minute of play, parity was finally restored. Eze whips a curling free-kick into the penalty area from the left corner of the 18, beating the first man and dipping down in front of Lloris with real venom.

The goalkeeper can only chest it down awkwardly for the incoming Schlupp, who bundles it over! to make it 1-1.

One blunder fro Illoris was all it took to get Crystal Palace into the game and put Spurs in a precarious position. Tottentham could be 2 points off Liverpool before 10pm today and 5 points below before Thursday.
