Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Borrusia Dortmund star Erling Haaland. The 19-year-old is becoming an elite striker having scored 32 goals in just 48 Bundelsiga appearances and 15 Champions League goals in just 11 appearances making him the fastest to achieve that fate.
Haaland is wanted by some of the finest club in Europe, but it seems the attacker wants Barcelona.
He wants to share the same dressing room with Lionel Messi who he regards as the best player in the world. Although, signing the attacker won’t come cheap for a economically dwarfed Barcelona.
He will cost the Bluagrana giants $100m to sign this summer and $75m to sign next summer.
According to Marca, Lionel Messi will no longer be extending his contract with Barcelona. Messi wants out and has made his intention known by telling the club’s board, his family and closet of friends he wants to leave.
Messi decision to leave is down to Barcelona’s lack of ambition which he started explained during his interview with goal.com. Messi wants to move to a bigger and better club where he can compete and win more trophies.
Already, the likes of PSG and Manchester City have reached out to sign him.
Marca further reports that Manchester City star Eric Garcia have agreed in deal in principle to join Barcelona at the end of the season.
Garcia will sign a pre-contract agreement this January and then join Barcelona as a free agent. The defender has no intention of extending his contract with City and will leave as a free agent this summer.
