5 Top Players Barcelona Will Likely Sign For Free When Their Contract Runs Out This Summer

Barcelona could be signing five of the best players in Europe for free this summer. This five players are out of contract and are open to playing for the Catalunya giants.

Barca are open to signing are Arsenal’s outcast Skhodran Mustafi who is reportedly deemed surplus requirement. The defender is frozen out of the first team and have little or no chance of playing regular football under Mikel Arteta.

His representative, Pini Zahavi, has offered him to Barcelona who could sign him for $15m or, wait till June when his contract expires with Chelsea.

Barcelona could also sign Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger, who is currently searching for first team chances under Frank Lampard.

Rudiger is a top defender and by winning the 2014 World Cup with Germany and other trophies, he has proven he is a world class player. But despite his qualities with both club and country and he still can’t convince Frank Lampard he is better than Kurt Zouma.

However, the defender has six months left on his contract and could opt to join Barcelona in a $16 m deal this January or join them for free when his contract runs out.

Barcelona is interested in the German international and will sign the agreement if an opportunity arises. This January, the Catalunya giants could sign Liverpool superstar Gini Wijnaldum as well. 

Wijnaldum is a top player and Ronald Koeman wants him at the club. A pre-contract agreement is reportedly been drafted for Gini Wijnaldum to sign this January before he joins the club permanently in June.

The club could also sign Memphis Depay whose contract with Lyon expires at the end of the season. Just like Wijnaldum, a pre-contract agreement is been drafted him too this January.

Manchester City star Eric Garcia will certainly be signing pre- contract agreement with Barcelona this January and join them at the end of the season. The defender has expressed his desire to play for Barcelona and become the long term replacement of Gerard Pique.
