Chelsea News: Declan Rice Set For January Move, Atletico Madrid Approach Marcos Alonso And David Alaba To Join

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing West Ham star Declan Rice.

The Blues might have spent $230m on signing some of Europe’s finest playerz but, the club still needs a defensive midfielder who is capable of shielding the back line from counter attackers. or incessant pressure from the opposition.

Without doubt, signing a top player like Rice won’t be easy though. The multiple skilled player will cost Chelsea $80m to sign this January or in the summer.

According to Marca, Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea star Marcos Alonso. The talented left back is open to leaving Chelsea this season having struggled for first team under Frank Lampard.

Alonso has played just 3 matches in 11 Premier League due to the arrival of Ben Chilwell who is highly regarded by Frank Lampard.

Marca further reports that Chelsea will beat Real Madrid to the signing of David Alaba. The 28-year-old will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season after refusing to extend his contract with the Bavarian giants.

His decision not to extend his contract is down to the club’s refusal o offer him more money but Chelsea are willing to offer him more money than Real Madrid.
