Liverpool News: Matip Out For 2-3 Weeks, Ozan Kabak Move Confirmed And Wijnaldum Rejects Contract

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Joel Matip will miss two to three weeks of action after sustaining an adductor injury.

Matip is Liverpool’s third choice centre back and currently the only defender Klopp can call upon time to time to deputize alongside the impressive Fabinho. But, the 28-year-old is an injury prone defender who have the tendency to break down when under pressure.

Klopp have revealed that Matip will be out for 2-3 three with adductor.

According to the Mirror, Liverpool are planning to sign Schalke 04 defender Ozan Kabak. The 22-year-old is highly rated by Jurgen Klopp who is happening to add defensive reinforcement after seeing two of his reliable defender suffer serious injury while the third just can’t stay.

Kabak have the potential to become a world class player and Klopp will hoping to signing him this January.

The Mirror further reports that Gini WIjnaldum has no intention of extending his contract with Liverpool. The Dutch defender wants to leave Liverpool this summer and join a club capable of paying him more money for his service.

Already, the likes of PSG, Juventus, Barcelona and even Real Madrid are willing to offer him a 30% increment in his €70,000-a-week earning at Liverpool.
