Liverpool News: At. Madrid To Sign Divock Origi, Sven Botman Approached And Gini Wijnaldum To Sign Extension

Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool striker Divock Origi.

The striker is open to leaving Liverpool this season after struggling for game time under Jurgen Klopp who prefers the pairing of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane or Diojo Jota upfront.

Origi though feels he deserves a shot in the first team at Liverpool or somewhere else if given a chance to prove himself. Atletico Madrid are now open to giving him chance to prove him sand hopefully become Diego Costa’s long term replacement.

According to the Telegraph, Liverpool are the firm favourites to sign Lille’s sensational defender Sven Botma. The 20-year-old is regarded as one of the best defender in French Ligue 1 and fans are calling for Liverpool to sign the potential world class defender.

Former Southampton defender Jose Fonte even claims Botman is better than Van Dijk and can offer Liverpool the quality they’re looking for to retain the Premier league if they consider signing.

The Telegraph further reports that Gini Wijnaldum will extend his contract with Liverpool but only on one condition.

Wijnaldum wants a contract that suits his incredible workload at Liverpool and probably add-ons be attached to it. He feels his £70,000-a-week is too low for a player of his quality and should be improved.

Frankly, its difficult o understand why Paul Pogba will earn £210,00-a-week while Wijnaldum earns £70,000.
