4 Defeats In 6 Games: What Is Wrong With Frank Lampard’s Chelsea

Another game, another defeat, Chelsea are crumbing under the weight of expectation. The 3-1 defeat to Manchester City at Stamford Bridge has just proven that Chelsea are becoming too average under Lampard.

The team is disoriented, disorganized and even the most experienced players seems to be lost with the manager’s tactical instruction.

Now, the call for change in the dugout will grow louder after watching a City team without Ederson, Nathan Ake, Ferran Torres, Aymeric Laprte, Eric Garcia, Kyle Walker and Gabriel Jesus come to Stamford Bridge and win 3-1.

It was really embarrassing watching Chelsea who must fans believe have the best players in the Premier League and the strongest squad depth in Europe struggle to impose themselves in the Premier League now that Liverpool are vulnerable in the back.

Yes! we all love Frank Lampard for what he has achieved with Chelsea in the past, but they’re other players who want to be remembered likewise. Chelsea can’t continue like this and Lampard must improve or get similar treatment like other managers before him.
