Jurgen Klopp is reportedly trying to convince Kalidou Koulibaly to ditch Napoli and join him at Liverpool this January.
The manager believes the Senegalese international can provide the backbone Liverpool needs to retain the Premier League title and win other domestic and European trophies.
But signing the experienced defender won’t be cheap. The 31-year-old will cost Liverpool £55m to £60m to sign which at the moment is unattainable.
According to the Mirror, Mohamed Salah could be joining Real Madrid at the end of the season. The players’ agent Ramy Abbas is working hard to get him to Real Madrid who are interested in Salah.
The Egyptian is a world class player and he wants to move to a club where he can win multiple champions league along with individual awards like the Ballon d’Or and the FIFA World Best Player.
Liverpool are still interested in signing Lille’s highly rated defender Sven Botman. The Reds though want to sign the player for £12m but Lille wants £25m for their potential world class defender.
French paper L’Equipe revealed that Lille will only entertain a bid above £20m from Liverpool or any club interested in him and not £12m or £15m Liverpool are currently offering.
