Chelsea could be replacing their erring manager if results in the Premier League don’t improve. The club have suffered four defeats in six games and drifting far away from Premier League contention despite spending $233m in the summer.
The club is disappointed with the team’s erratic display and have now shortlisted three managers who can replace Frank Lampard. The shortlisted managers are- ‘RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann, Southampton manager Ralph Hassenhuttl and former PSG manager Thomas Tuchel’.
But, Lampard isn’t too worried about the sack.
He believes he can still get the team playing good football and picking up valuable points. He is fully aware that the managing director Marina Granovskaia respects him for all he has achieved at the club and is willing to give him more time to get things right but, that can change once a directive is given by the boss.
The club owner Roman Abramovich might decide enough is enough and pull the plug on Lampard especially if Chelsea lose the FA Cup clash against Morecambe and the Premier League clash against Fulham.
