Liverpool’s most reliable center back Virgil van Dijk could be back before the season is over.
Van Dijk is currently ruled out with a cruciate ligament damage which normally takes a 9-12 months to heal before light training commences but, the defender is aiming to beat the time limit by working endlessly to be fit for the crunch period of the season.
He wants to be back before April and is working hard to be fit.
According to Marca, Liverpool have the ample opportunity of signing Real Madrid’s outcast Eder Militao this January. The defender have failed to live up to the billing since joining the club in a £44.5m deal back in 2019.
The 22-year-old Brazilian international is currently offered to Liverpool on a six months loan deal with option to sign him permanently.
Madrid want to recoup the money they spent in signing him and will gladly accept £44.5m for him.
Liverpool are still optimistic of signing PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe this summer. They’ve reportedly approached the technically gifted player who posses the prerequisite skillsets to adapt to any club in the world and score 50 or 60 goals a season.
Liverpool want the 21-year-old to either replace one of their outgoing front three or provide the additional firepower to win games.
