Chelsea News: Giroud Rejects Juventus, Tomori Set For AC Milan And Avran Grant Denies Chelsea Link

Chelsea star Olivier Giroud has reportedly rejected the opportunity to play for Juventus this January.

The Bianconeris want him as back up striker but, the 34-year-old French international feels running down his six months contract at Chelsea is the best bet for him and in the summer, he will decide were he wants to go next.

He will decide if he wants to continue playing football at the highest level in Europe or move to much easier and highly lucrative leagues in Asia, middle east or America.

According to Calciomercato, AC Milan are closing in on signing Fikayo Tomori on a season loan deal. The Rosseneris want the defender on loan as well as the option to sign him permanently.

Chelsea meanwhile have no interest in selling the 22-year-old British Nigeria. They believe he will one day develop into a world class defender and selling him now for $7 or $15m don’t make sense.

Former Chelsea coach Avram Grant has denied the remour linking him with a return to Stamford Bridge. The news paper speculations from Daily Mail and the Sun were simply fake news to drive in traffic to their sites.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has no contacted anyone to help Frank Lampard nor has he called the manager to speak about the club. He is a huge fan of Lampard and will give him a chance to prove his managerial credentials.
