Arsenal News: Ozil Contract Terminated, Barcelona’s Neto Set For Loan Move And Diego Costa Approached

Mesut Ozil has ended his 8 year sting at Arsenal after an agreement was reached between himself and the club to terminate his remaining six months contract worth £350,000-a-week.

The 32-year-old end will end his 10 months wait to play regular football by joining Fenerbache on Monday as a free agent.

Ozil will leave Arsenal as legend having played 254 matches for the club while scoring 44 goals with 77 assists. Added to that, Ozil has won 4 FA Cups and 4 Community Shield in 8 years with Arsenal.

According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are interested in signing Barcelona’s second choice keeper Neto this January. The Gunners feel Bernd Leno needs a challenge in goal and the arrival of Neto from Barcelona will offer him one.

Neto’s presence will force Leno to improve and not Runar Alex Runnarsson who is riddled with mistakes.

Although, Barcelona are requesting £18m for his transfer but, Arsenal are hoping to take him on loan with the option of signing in January for £15m.

Sky Sports, Arsenal are still interested in signing former Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa. The Gunners want him in the dressing room cause they believe he posses the huge mentality and attitude needed to get Arsenal competing for major trophies.

He can have the same firing influence on the squad like Just like Zlatan Ibrahimovic is doing at AC Milan or Edinson Cavani in Manchester United.

Costa though is not in a hurry to join any club that will relegate him again to the bench. He wants to regular football and if Arsenal can offer that, he will join them.
