Arsenal are closing in on signing Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard on a season loan deal. The 22-year-old has struggled for first team football despite starting the season strongly.
Zinedine Zidane do like him as a player but, he doesn’t trust him enough to play regular football for Real Madrid. That lack of trust have forced the Norwegian international to ask the club to either loan him or sell him off.
His availability in the transfer market has attracted Arsenal who opened talks to take him on season loan deal just like they did with Dani Caballos.
Although, Arsenal aren’t the club interested in signing Martin on loan. The likes of Sevilla and his former club Real Sociedad are all interested in taking him.
The Gunner could also be signing Barcelona’s number two keeper Neto. The goalkeeper has reportedly agreed personal terms with Arsenal and now needs Barcelona to accept a transfer fee for him.
He wants to leave and has made his intention know to the Barcelona who are still deliberating selling or keeping him. Hopefully, a conclusion wil be reached before the transfer window closes.
Norwich City have reportedly rejected Arsenal’s bid for Emiliano Buendia. The championship are aiming to return to the Premier League next season and feel Buendia will be vital in achieving that objective.
The canaries will consider a sell probably in the summer after they’ve secured a promotion to the Premier League.
